Parking in Diggle
We have a large car park on-site and plenty of parking around the local area
Do you have disabled parking?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer disabled parking due to our canal side location
Which areas are dog friendly?
Our Indoor Cafe, Indoor Garden Room and outdoor canopy area are all dog friendly.
Our Dining Domes are NOT dog friendly.
Which areas can and can't be booked?
We take reservations for our Indoor Cafe, Indoor Garden Room and Dining Domes.
All outdoor areas are based on a walk-in first come, first serve system.
As we are fortunate enough to have such a large outdoor space we are always accepting walk ins, although booking is advisable if you are wanting indoor seating.
Large bookings ands events
We welcome larger groups of up to 15 people which can be booked directly through our website at any time.
Anything over 15 people, for bookings up to 30 people, please contact us directly to arrange this.
Toilets and baby changing facilities
We have toilets and baby changing facilities on-site in Diggle
Bakes opening times
Local Saddleworth baker BakesUK operates from our express canal side counter weekends and school holidays 11am-4pm
Afternoon Tea times
Our Afternoon Tea is served 7 days a week from 12pm onwards at Grandpa Greene's Parlour in Diggle only.
What does Afternoon Tea include
Our Traditional Afternoon Tea includes a range of open sandwiches, warm fruit scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam, cakes of the day, seasonal treats, a miniature milkshake and unlimited tea or coffee. (All cakes and treats change daily depending on supply)
Our Sparkling Afternoon Tea also includes a glass of Prosecco
Children's Afternoon Tea
We offer a children's version of our Afternoon Tea, please specify in your booking comments how many children's Afternoon Teas are required on your reservation
Booking a mix of Afternoon Tea and normal menu
Please specify on your booking notes how many people on your reservation require Afternoon Tea and how many would like to choose from the normal menu
Allergies and Dietary requirements
Please specify any allergies or dietary requirements in your booking notes. We cannot 100% guarantee that our Afternoon Tea is allergen free and although we take our greatest care in ensuring your safety, we would ask you to consider whether this would be suitable for you. If you would like to discuss this further do not hesitate to call a member of our team for advice.

Parking in Uppermill
Unfortunately we do not have on-site parking but you can find plenty of parking around the local area.
Please allow extra time if you have a booking with us on weekends and busy days.
Walk-ins and Reservation
We accept both reservations and walk ins 7 days a week, although during busy periods booking is always advisable.
Large bookings
You can book tables for up to 10 people on our website. For anything bigger please get in contact and we will advise you whether this is possible.

Dietary requirements
We cater to a range of dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, halal and gluten free.
Some of our offerings are not available to meet specific dietary requirements. For example, our Afternoon Teas are not dairy-free or gluten-free
Allergies
Please make a staff member aware of any allergies to allow extra precautions to be taken to ensure your safety.
We cannot guarantee that our dishes are 100% allergen free and although we take our greatest care in ensuring your safety, we would ask you to consider whether this would be suitable for you.
Deposits for special reservations
Deposits for reservations including Afternoon Tea, Dining Domes and Theme Nights etc. are refundable and will be taken off your bill on the day of your visit
How do I purchase a voucher?
All vouchers can be purchased via our website by clicking on the location you wish to purchase a voucher for and then selecting 'Buy Vouchers'
Please be aware vouchers are only redeemable at the location you are selecting for.
Paying the deposit for Afternoon Tea if I already have a voucher
Please book the normal menu option from 12pm onwards and specify the number of Afternoon Teas you would like along with the voucher code
Can you redeem Afternoon Tea vouchers for alternatives?
Our Afternoon Tea vouchers hold no monetary value and are only redeemable for Afternoon Tea.
If you are not sure whether to purchase an Afternoon Tea voucher, you are best to purchase a Gift Card for your chosen amount.
Voucher expiry
All vouchers will have an expiry date which can be found printed on the bottom of your voucher
